Coronado Beaches and Bays
Ranked as one of the top 10 beaches in the country, Coronado offers amazing weather and long sandy beaches. The entire west side of Coronado is essentially one long beach, measuring over a mile long. There are also several Bays to launch boats or get away from the crowds of the beach...
Coronado Bridge
The San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge, built with an eye to appearance as well as transportation service. In 1970, it received the Most Beautiful Bridge Award of Merit of the American Institute of Steel Construction. The bridge was financed by a California Toll Bridge Authority $47.6 million bond issue which has been repaid from tolls.

Coronado Ferry
The ferry was was the only way to the mainland before the Coronado Bridge was built. Today the San diego Bay Ferry is an enjoyable ferry ride that shuttles between the Broadway Pier in Downtown San Diego, and The Coronado Ferry Landing in Coronado. It also stops at the Fifth Ave Landing behind the Convention Center year 'round.

Coronado Ferry Landing
Ferry's Landing Marketplace is a collection of restaurants, specialty and gift shops, and art galleries, located along the San Diego Bay waterfront. At the Ferry Landing there is a sandy beach as well as a boardwalk for biking. This is also where you can catch the Coronado Ferry that takes you to Downtown San Diego.

Coronado Municipal Golf Course
Opened in 1957, Coronado Municipal Golf Course continues to reign as one of the finest public golf courses in Southern California. The course is a 72-par, 130-acre course with a driving range. Ron's Pro Shop features rentals, instruction and tournament awards. Clubhouse Bar and Grill offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Coronado Parks
Coronado has several well maintained parks located around the island. The parks in Coronado are a great place to relax, read a good book and bring the kids. Some parks are large enough to play organized sports. The larger Coronado parks come equipped with restroom facilities and playgrounds...

Coronado Playhouse
The Coronado Playhouse, the oldest community theatre in San Diego County, was first organized as the Coronado Players in February 1946. Remodeled in 2006, it is now a 100-seat cabaret-style theatre with a full service bar. Catered dinners, at an additional cost, are available. Overlooks the beautiful Glorietta Bay.

Coronado Yacht Club
Coronado Yacht Club was founded initially in 1913. There are slips for more than 270 yachts and accommodations for 81 in dry storage. Two small boat hoists are available to serve dry storage boats. Coronado Yacht Club has approximately 899 members, with year round yachting calendar.
Hotel Del Coronado
The Hotel del Coronado is a beachfront luxury hotel in the city of Coronado, just across the San Diego Bay. It is one of the few surviving examples of an American architectural, the wooden Victorian beach resort. It is one of the oldest and largest all-wooden buildings in California and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977.

Lambs Players Theatre
It is one of Southern California’s leading non-profit performing arts organizations. Lamb’s Players is an artist-directed company providing a home for a resident company of actors, directors and designers. You will see the work of a group of artists who have worked together over 20 years – and each year you’ll also meet new faces.

Museum of History and Art
Located in the South end of Orange Ave at 1100 Orange Ave, is the History museum. The gallery will tell the story of Coronado and its original settlers. See how the Naval bases where established on the island. Also special exhibits about Coronado and the famous Hotel Del Coronado.

Naval Bases
Coronado has two Naval bases located on the island. The largest Naval Base is North Island which occupies the Northern half of the island. North Island is the largest Naval base in the country. The other is Naval Amphibious Base or NAB, situated on Silver Strand, between the San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean
