Coronado is a small town that offers several event and festivals throughout the year, with the 4th of July and Christmas being the most popular. The 4th of July celebration in Coronado bring thousands of people to the island to enjoy its annual parade and amazing fire works show. Dont miss Christmas in Coronado, annual event that attract hords of people filled with food and shopping. If you enjoy art, Coronado has a Art festival on the first and third Sunday of every month, called Art in the Park. Art in the Park takes place in Spreckles Park and features both local and other artists displaying their works for purchse. Another not to be missed local event in Coronado is the Farmer's Market taking place every Tuesday at the Coronado Ferry Landing. Purchase or just sample some of the freshest fruit and produce from local farmers. The Farmers Market also offers items such as jewelry, photography, pottery, clothing, paintings and more. Coronado Flower Show
The show is held in Spreckels Park. The Coronado Flower Show is the largest flower show held under tents in the West, going on over 80 years. Open to all ages and includes a horticulture, design and children's section.
