This is one of the original businesses that has been in Coronado for as long as I can remember. I remember as a kid my mom would send me on my bicycle up to the key shop for copies. There was a closer key shop to my house, but my mom told me specifically to go to the Coronado Key Shop, because you can always count on your key to work. Obviously she was right, given that they have been in business since early 1964. On a personal note it is great to see that the business was taken over by the two sons when their father retired.
