The Roller Coaster - Mission Beach
Mission Beach spans nearly two miles of ocean, with a boardwalk on both the ocean and bay side. Activities include, surfing, sunbathing, running and more. The Giant Dipper, also known as the Mission Beach Roller Coaster, is a wooden roller coaster, built in 1925. The Giant Dipper is in Belmont Park, right in Mission Beach.

San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park, San Diego, California is one of the largest, most progressive zoos in the world with over 4,000 animals of more than 800 species. It is also one of the few zoos in the world that houses the giant panda. The zoo offers a guided tour bus that traverses 75% of the park. Located within 5 miles of Coronado.

Wild Animal Park
The San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park is a zoo in the San Pasqual Valley area of San Diego, California. The Park houses a large array of wild and endangered animals including species from the continents of Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Australia. The park most notable features is the Journey into Africa tram.

LegoLand
Legoland California is located in Carlsbad, in North San Diego County. The park opened March 20, 1999 and is split into nine sections which are The Beginning, Dino Island, Explore Village, Fun Town, Knight's Kingdom, Miniland USA, Imagination Zone, Pirate Shores, and Land of Adventure.

Mount Soledad
Mount Soledad is a prominent landmark in the city of San Diego, California, United States. The mountaintop is the site of the "Mount Soledad cross" the subject of a continuing controversy over the involvement of religion in government. From the top of Mount Soledad a sweeping 360 degree views of all of San Diego and La Jolla.

Cabrillo National Monument
The Cabrillo National Monument commemorates the landing of Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542. This event marked the first time that a European expedition had set foot on what later became the west coast of the United States. The park offers a view of San Diego's harbor and skyline, as well as Coronado.

Seaport Village
Seaport Village is a shopping and dining complex overlooking the bay in San Diego, California. It houses more than 70 shops, galleries, and eateries on 90,000 square feet of waterfront property. The Village contains several freestanding buildings in an assortment of architectural styles, from Victorian to traditional Mexican.

PETCO Park
PETCO Park is an open-air stadium in downtown San Diego, California. It opened in 2004, replacing Qualcomm Stadium as the home park of Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres. The park has several bars, and high end eateries, unlike most ballparks. The ballpark is located between 7th and 10th Avenues, south of J Street.

Sea World
SeaWorld is a chain of marine mammal parks in the United States. The parks feature orca, sea lion, and dolphin shows and zoological displays featuring various other marine animals. SeaWorld parks also feature a variety of thrill rides, including roller coasters and water rides. Located within 5 miles of Coronado.

Balboa Park
It contains a variety of cultural attractions including museums, theaters, gardens, shops and restaurants as well as the world-renowned San Diego Zoo. Balboa Park was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977. There are a number of gardens, Theatrical and musical venues located in the park. Located within 5 miles of Coronado.

Tijuana - Mexico
Want to really experience Mexico, head to Tijuana, located just 25 miles from Coronado. Tijuana is the largest city in Baja California an offers some of the best shopping, restaurants and nightlife in all of Mexico. About 300,000 visitors cross by foot or car from the San Ysidro point of entry in the United States every day.

Rosarito - Mexico
located approximately 35 minutes south of the U.S. border. Its beaches and dance clubs are a popular destination for young people from the United States. Rosarito offers hand-crafted "rustico" furniture, metal sculpture, art studios and galleries. Fox Studios, where scenes from the movie Titanic were filmed, is located here.

Puerto Nuevo - Mexico
The well-known lobster village, Puerto Nuevo, just 10 minutes south of Rosarito, is a tourist/culinary destination. More than 35 side by side restaurants all serving Lobster, rice and beans, washed down with Margaritas is the "comida del dia." Lobster "Puerto Nuevo Style" has become world famous.
